PLEASANT-Graveside services were held May 14 at the Mt. 26 months, who died May 12, 1993, at home. He was born February 20, 1991, in West Valley City to Kitione Ulmer (Deon) Touhuni, Sr. and Michelle Wilcox. He was here a short time but touched many people's lives.
He is survived by parents; grandparents Tyler and Terri Tuttle; aunts and uncles Cheri, Elton, Christopher, Elise and Kenny Tuttle, all Mt. Pleasant; and by grandmother Annette Turner; great-grandparents Donna Osborn and Clair Tuttle; and great-great-grandmothers Lila Graham and Katherine Winkler. Clara Watson MT. PLEASANT-Services were held May 18 at the Mt. Pleasant LDS Stake Center for Clara Opal Frandsen Watson, 82, who died May 13, 1993 in Orem.
She was born May 27, 1910, to Lee and Elvina Ostensen Kelsey. She married Roy Frandsen in Mt. Pleasant on April 14, 1933. He died September 10, 1981. She married Oswald Watson in Moroni on February 4, 1986.
She was an active member of the LDS Church and delighted in singing in the choir. She was a visiting teacher for 50 years. She enjoyed women's clubs. She and her first husband farmed for many years, and she was known for her cooking. She is survived by husband, West Jordan; children Leon 0.

He was born December 8, 1908, in Fountain Green to Hyrum and Ada Carter Anderson. He married Ona Rees in the Manti Temple on June 5, 1929. She died November 11, 1990. He was manager of Moroni Feed Company. He served as bishop of the Wales Ward twice, for a total of 21 years.
He served as high councilman of the Moroni Stake and as a worker at the Manti Temple Visitors Center. He loved fishing, hunting and the outdoors and had a great love for people. He is survived by sons Duane and Maurice Anderson, both Sandy; daughter-in-law LaRae Anderson, Murray; brother Elmo Anderson, Fountain Green; 11 grandchildren, 17 greatgrandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Preceded in death by son Terry, two grandchildren and two sisters. Interment was in the Fountain Green Cemetery.

M19L RICHFIELD-- Services were held May 17 in the Richfield 7th LDS Ward chapel for Lindsey McCall Teeples, who died suddenly May 13, 1993, in Mt. Pleasant. Lindsey was born March 17, 1992, in Murray to Jeffrey Lee and Deena Jessen Teeples. She loved life, her mommy and daddy and her big brother. Her family are members of the LDS Church.
She is survived by parents and brother Remington Chase Lowry, all Mt. Pleasant; sister Amber Shirlene Teeples, Orem; grandparents Leland T. and LuDean J. Teeples, Richfield; and greatgrandparents Myrtle T. and Clifford Mangum, Bicknell.
Preceded in death by grandparents Val Dean and Nora Mae Nielsen Jessen. Burial was in the Bicknell Cemetery. Cassie Porter SALT LAKE CITY-Services were held May 12 in the Hunter Copperhill Stake Center for Cassie Nicole Porter, 8, who died May 9, 1993, at Primary Children's Medical Center of complications from Hurler's Syndrome. No man is useless MT. PLEASANT-- A proposal which would have banned artificial flowers and imposed other restrictions at the cemetery was rejected by the city council at its May 11 meeting. The proposal was introduced during discussion prompted by complaints that city crews had removed flowers from graves the day after Mother's Day to mow the cemetery lawn. City manager Bill Way explained that city crews reported they removed the flowers to be more efficient while maintaining the cemetery. It was pointed out employees were responsible for maintaining all the city's public grounds and not just the cemetery, that they were understaffed and had to adhere to a rigid schedule to accomplish all the work, and that it would take two men to mow the cemetery if flowers were left on the graves (one to mow and one to remove and replace the flowers).
To avoid future conflict with those who routinely decorate graves, employees recommended adopting a policy which spelled out certain cemetery restrictions, such as banning articifial flowers betwen April 1 and October, requiring that all flowers be either on cement or in vases (none on the grass), and that no wires be used to anchor arran- gements. Workers also suggested that flowers be picked up weekly before mowing, that no trees or shrubs be allowed, that any wilted flowers be removed, and that glass jars be forbidden. The council agreed that the proposed cemetery rules were "not workable," and that public input would be needed before any policy change was made. The only current city policy addressing flowers at the cemetery states they might be left on graves up to five days after funerals and Memorial Day. Pleasant to David Leonel and Eloese Christensen Monson. He had served as Salt Lake County Treasurer since 1974. He was involved in many civic, charitable and professional groups. He was a tribal member of the Koosharem Band of the Paiute Indian Tribe and was actively involved in issues on the Navajo and Ute Indian reservations. He was an officer and worker in the Democratic Party.
He is survived by wife Sally; children Daniel Lee and Rebecca; grandchildren Joshua, Autum, Noelle; sister June; and brother David. Preceded in death by son Kendall Arthur and sister LaRue Conlon. Cleo Meader SALT LAKE. CITY-Graveside services were held May 17 at the Fairview Cemetery for Cleo Meader, 78, who died May 10, 1993, in a Salt Lake nursing home of natural causes. She was born August 21, 1914, in Fairview to David and Mahaile Stewart Rasmussen.
She is survived by several cousins. She was preceded in death by parents; three brothers, Marion, Elmo and Glen Armon; and son Roger. Way said he would advise city crews to use more discretion. He also commended employees for their progress cleaning up and getting the cemetery ready for Memorial Day.
