The Edmonton Oilers' recent struggles have left fans and experts alike scratching their heads. General Manager Stan Bowman, who's been at the helm for just over a year, has a unique perspective on the team's performance.
While the focus often falls on the crease, especially in a market like Edmonton, Bowman believes the issues run deeper.
"Our goalies have been average; they haven't been the sole problem," he asserts. "The entire team needs to step up and find their rhythm."

The team has also had to adjust to new players and the absence of key winger Zach Hyman, who's recovering from a serious wrist injury.
Bowman's patience is evident, but he's not blind to the team's struggles. "It's a process," he says, "and we're not quite there yet."

"McDavid's focus and passion are infectious," Bowman adds. "He's a true leader, and his impact on the team is undeniable."
