In celebration of June as #PrideMonth, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota asked members of its Blue Pride associate resource group (ARG) about what the designationmeans to them, how they celebrate, and how others can get involved. The Blue Pride ARG serves as a networking and collaboration resource for LGBTQIA+ associates and their allies.

When Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota members are faced with complex and challenging medical situations, in-home relief and assistance can be found through Dispatch Health. A Blue Cross in-network provider, Dispatch Health makes “house calls” throughout the Twin Cities, with services ranging from same-day treatment to 30-day acute care.

In partnership with Martina’s Table, the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota volunteer Community Advisory Board (CAB) advises Blue Cross on key priorities and insights that can help to reduce racial and health inequities in multiple ways. The CAB enables deeper engagement with consumers, caregivers and community members on issues that matter most in improving access to quality and equitable healthcare for everyone.

A reflection of the rich diversity across the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota workforce can be found in its associate resource groups, or ARGs. All ARGs are voluntary, employee-led organizations that foster connections based on common interests or lived experiences.
