Denim Première Vision is set to redefine the denim landscape for Spring/Summer 2027!
Scheduled to take place at Milan’s iconic Superstudio Più on November 26 and 27, Denim Première Vision promises to be a vibrant hub for the denim industry, bringing together 65 exhibitors, including 45 leading textile manufacturers. But here's where it gets intriguing: this edition is not just about fabrics—it's a showcase of global innovation and collaboration.
Exhibitors will represent around fifteen different nationalities, highlighting the truly international nature of the event. Among them, five specialized accessories manufacturers will display zips, buttons, rivets, and more, while three top-notch yarn and fiber producers—Casati Flock, Mic, and XLance—will also be present. In addition, about a dozen garment manufacturers from countries like Turkey, Italy, China, and Portugal will join the lineup, illustrating the increasing diversity of denim production. "A few years ago, we didn’t have any garment manufacturers from Portugal. Today, we proudly welcome Pizarro and IVN Industria," explained Fabio Adami Dalla Val, the show’s director. He also highlighted the participation of around 10 Japanese companies, marking a notable international presence.
At the heart of the event is the "Denim Fashion District," now in its eighth edition. Curated by designer Olivia Spinelli and Opaa Studio, this specially designed space will showcase 23 innovative brands, including the renowned Adriano Goldschmied of Daily Blue. It’s a space that not only presents the latest designs but also inspires visitors with cutting-edge creativity and craftsmanship.
Equally essential is the trends area, described by the director as "the heart of the show." Here, visitors can gain a thorough and engaging overview of emerging denim trends, materials, and technological innovations. This section will also host the Underrated project, an exciting collaboration led by designer Kristian Guerra, which unites manufacturers, weavers, and print specialists to create a one-of-a-kind collection.
The two-day event will be complemented by a comprehensive conference program, featuring several sessions on Spring/Summer 2027 trends. Highlights include talks from G-Star’s creative directors Lisi Herrebrugh and Rushemy Botter, and a thought-provoking industry debate featuring Maurizio Donadi of Champion, Adriano Goldschmied, and the dynamic duo Manuela Mariotti and Massimo Berloni, co-founders of Seafarer. These sessions are designed not just to inform, but to spark conversation and debate among attendees.
A particularly strategic topic—dyeing—will also take center stage. A dedicated conference will feature three pioneering players in sustainable denim coloration: Chloris from the U.S., using bio-based blue dyes created through microbial fermentation; Italy’s Officina 39, known for its eco-friendly dyes and pigments; and the UK’s Infinity Blue, which has developed an innovative method to recover indigo from textile waste. This segment promises to challenge conventional practices and push the industry toward greener solutions.
The last edition of Denim Première Vision, held in Milan on May 21-22, drew an impressive 2,100 visitors and hosted 84 exhibitors, underlining the event’s growing influence and appeal within the global denim community.
And here’s the part most people miss: this isn’t just a trade show. It’s a window into the future of denim, a platform for groundbreaking innovation, and a meeting point where trends, technology, and sustainability converge.
