On the hunt for the best restaurants in Westchester County, NY to dine at?
Westchester County is a foodie’s haven, with so many fantastic restaurants offering up all kinds of cuisines.
We tried several amazing restaurants during our visit to Westchester County, which I’ll share our experiences about below!
Whether you’re looking for casual restaurants or upscale fine dining spots, there are plenty of incredible places worth eating at in Westchester County.

Best restaurants in Westchester County, NY
Sweet Grass Grill
This cozy and rustic spot in Tarrytown offers up a changing menu featuring local and seasonal ingredients.
They work directly with a dozen local farms, and the menu changes up weekly depending on the daily harvests, which is really cool!
Enjoy their incredible salads, sandwiches, or entrées, with plenty of vegan and gluten-free options.
They also offer up a delicious weekend brunch menu, with options like their Farmer’s Breakfast and Seasonal Omelet, both featuring fresh and seasonal veggies!
LOCATION: 24 Main St, Tarrytown, NY
Hapag Filipino Cuisine
Authentic Filipino cuisine is what you’ll find at this casual and friendly spot in Yonkers.
You’ll find classic Filipino faves like Lumpia (spring rolls), Pancit (a noodle dish), and Lechon Kawali (crispy pork belly).
Don’t forget to grab Halo-Halo for dessert – it’s an amazing layered dessert made up of fruit, beans, milk, and crushed ice!
The restaurant is quite small and gets filled up quickly, so be sure to come early for a seat (or order takeout instead).
LOCATION: 1789 Central Park Ave #1787, Yonkers, NY
GoSu
Indulge in Asian fusion cuisine at this hidden gem Irvington restaurant that’s all about their meat and noodle dishes.
From their Wasabi Shumai, to their Miso Ramen with bulgogi, to their Spicy Soba with house-made gochujang sauce, they’ve got a variety of delicious Asian fusion dishes on the menu.
They’ve also got some pretty great lunch specials ranging from $10 to $12 USD, which all come with a side of either miso soup or salad!
If you’re in the mood for a drank, they’ve also got a good selection of sake and soju options.
LOCATION: 50 S Buckhout St, Irvington, NY
The Parlor
This rustic and graffiti-covered spot in Dobbs Ferry serves up creative wood-fired pizzas, and they are truly amazing.
We absolutely adored the unique Everything 2.0 pizza, which featured everything spice, egg sauce, a spicy house-made sausage, mozzarella, and parmesan.
The egg sauce was so intriguing, and the house-made sausage was fantastic!
Adam got the Griddle Burger with their smash fries, which was also really good.
If you’re visiting during the warmer months, they’ve also got a cool front patio you can dine on!
LOCATION: 14 Cedar St, Dobbs Ferry, NY
Bridge View Tavern & Beer Garden
Stop into this cozy Sleepy Hollow outpost for internationally-inspired dishes and a rotating selection of American craft beer.
From their Belgian Curry Mussels, to their Vietnamese Pork Banh Mi, to their Shrimp Tacos, you’ll find plenty of diverse items on the menu.
They also smoke their own meats, and you can enjoy their House Smoked & Fried Chicken Wings or their house-smoked Pulled Pork sandwich.
Take note that they don’t accept reservations!
LOCATION: 226 Beekman Ave, Sleepy Hollow, NY
Village Social – Kitchen & Bar
Internationally-inspired twists on classic American fare is what you can expect on the menu at Village Social.
You’ll find plenty of delicious and unique options, including their Saigon Spareribs, Pastrami Eggrolls, and Summer Corn Pizza!
You can also enjoy one of their craft co*cktails, with options like their Blueberry Vodka Lemonade and their Blood Orange Margarita.
If you’re a craft beer lover, they’ve got a rotating selection of draught beers on tap.
Their Mount Kisco spot is their original location, and they’ve also got a second location in Rye!

Southern Table Kitchen & Bar
Creative Southern cuisine and specialty co*cktails are on the menu at Southern Table, an upscale restaurant in Pleasantville.
You’ll find appetizers like their Beer Steamed Mussels and Buffalo Molasses Wings alongside mains like their Buttermilk Fried Chicken (with marinated watermelon!) and Cajun Gumbo.
Alongside their delish co*cktail selection, they’ve also got some great non-alcoholic co*cktail and beer options as well.
I always appreciate when restaurants have non-alcoholic drink options, especially as someone who doesn’t drink very often myself!
LOCATION: 39 Marble Ave, Pleasantville, NY
Amore Pizzeria & Italian Kitchen
Amore has been serving up traditional dishes from across Italy for over four decades at their restaurant in Armonk.
You can enjoy classic Italian dishes like Arancini, Bolognese, and Chicken Parmigiana.
You’ll also want to try one of their brick oven pizzas, and you can take your pick between thin or thick crust and well-baked or lightly-cooked crust!
LOCATION: 1 Kent Pl, Armonk, NY
Badageoni Georgian Kitchen
Authentic Georgian cuisine is served at this chic Mount Kisco restaurant.
Go for their signature Chakapuli (slow-cooked lamb stew) or Chashushuli (slow-cooked beef stew), or opt for their charcoal-grilled meats or freshly-made Georgian dumplings.
Most of their menu is gluten-free, and they’ve also got plenty of vegan and vegetarian options!
Everything is conveniently labelled on their menu, which is really helpful for my friends with dietary restrictions.
LOCATION: 26 E Main St, Mt Kisco, NY
MP Taverna Irvington
Enjoy modern, Greek-inspired dishes at this stylish Greek tavern in Irvington.
Start with meze options like their Octopus or Crispy Calamari, and enjoy mains (to yourself or family-style) like their Souvlaki, Greek Paella, or Grilled Branzino.
They’re also housed in a gorgeous 18th-century building, right by the Hudson River!
LOCATION: 1 Bridge St, Irvington, NY
RaaSa
Traditional Indian cuisine with a modern twist is what you’ll find at this Bib Gourmand restaurant in Westchester.
Alongside popular items like Tandoori Chicken and Butter Chicken, you’ll find unique options like their Kalonji Scallops and Cochin Kekda (with lump crap meat).
They’ve also got really great lunch specials ranging from $12 to $14, and they all come with rice, naan, veggies, and dessert!
LOCATION: 145 E Main St, Elmsford, NY
La Chinita Poblana
Visit this upscale and authentic Mexican restaurant in Irvington for traditional plates and sweet, sweet margaritas.
You can enjoy appetizers like their Ceviche or Cactus Salad, and find unique options like their Duck Tacos.
They also have Taco Tuesdays, Wine Wednesdays, and Happy Hours if you’re visiting during the week!
La Chinita Poblana is located on Main Street, right in the heart of Irvington, where you’ll find plenty of other great restaurants and shops.
Take a stroll through the neighbourhood afterwards and head on over to the gorgeous waterfront for scenic Hudson River views!
LOCATION: 61 Main St, Irvington, NY
Bread & Brine
Stop into this cool and modern spot in Hastings-on-Hudson for their raw bar and incredible seafood bites.
You’ll find plenty of top-notch seafood faves like the Shrimp co*cktail, New England Clam Chowder, and Lobster Roll.
They’re all about fresh, local, and seasonal food sources, and they offer up daily and weekly kitchen specials!
LOCATION: 19 Main St, Hastings-on-Hudson, NY
3 Westerly
This trendy and upscale waterfront restaurant in Ossining serves up elevated American fare in their nautical-inspired space.
We got the Crunchy Rice Cakes, Wagyu Steak Tartare, and Roasted Halibut, and everything was fantastic.
If you’re looking for restaurants in Westchester with a scenic view, you’ll be happy to see that they’re located right by the water, and they’ve got massive windows with views of the Hudson River.
They’ve also got a really beautiful riverside patio you can dine on during the warmer months!
Be sure to head next door to the seasonal Bigfoot Creamery for some ice cream if you’re visiting during the summer months.
LOCATION: 3 Westerly Rd, Ossining, NY
Shiraz Kitchen & Wine Bar
Enjoy Mediterranean sharing plates and sushi at Shiraz Kitchen.
From their Hummus, to their Ground Beef Koobideh, to their Persian Vegetable Stew, you’ll find a variety of delicious options on the menu.
As for their sushi menu, you’ll find classic sashimi, nigiri, and rolls alongside their special rolls.
They’ve got two locations in Westchester County and New York City, and they’re a Michelin Bib Gourmand-recommended restaurant!
LOCATION: 80 Mamaroneck Ave, White Plains, NY
Harper’s Restaurant and Bar
Harper’s serves up elevated comfort foods from across Europe and North America at their restaurant in Dobbs Ferry.
Find unique options like their Dandelion Caesar, Smoked Trout Dip, and Pork Schnitzel with brown butter.
If you’re in the mood for a drink, they’ve got a fantastic selection of craft co*cktails and craft beers.
You can enjoy live music every Thursday night at the restaurant, and they’ve also got a stunning back patio if you’re visiting during the summer months!
Harper’s is also by the same owners behind Saint George Bistro, which is also in Westchester County!
LOCATION: 92 Main St, Dobbs Ferry, NY
Chutney Masala Bistro
This Bib Gourmand restaurant serves up Northern Indian dishes in a converted riverside warehouse.
From their elevated street food specials, to their decadent curries, to their signature co*cktails, you’ll find a variety of incredible menu options.
They also source free-range meats without antibiotics and hormones, wild seafood, and fresh and local produce.
If you’re visiting during weekday lunch, you can enjoy their 3-course lunch special or one of their lunch special platters!
LOCATION: 76 Main St, Irvington, NY
Dolphin Restaurant
Dolphin Restaurant is a lovely riverside restaurant in Yonkers serving up Mediterranean-inspired seafood cuisine.
We enjoyed the 8oz Angus Burger and Crispy Flounder, and the complimentary garlic bread was also super good.
This was my very first time trying flounder, and it was delicious and seasoned to perfection!
If you’re in the mood for some dessert afterwards, take a short walk over to Lost Borough for some of the best ice cream in Westchester County.
LOCATION: 1 Van Der Donck St, Yonkers, NY
The Cookery
This Italian gastropub offers up a menu that changes up by daily, and they’re Michelin Bib Gourmand-recommended.
Find inventive menu items like their Duck Liver Cannoli, their crispy fried Octopus, and their Rigatoni with bone marrow.
They’re only open for dinner, but they do offer a 3-course weekend brunch!
They’re actually also the same group behind The Parlor, which I mentioned earlier, and Dough Nation Pizza, their food truck business!
LOCATION: 9 Chestnut St, Dobbs Ferry, NY
Dubrovnik
From succulent meat roasts to fresh grilled fish, you’ll find an extensive selection of authentic Croatian delicacies at Dubrovnik.
They’re also one of a dozen Bib Gourmand restaurants in Westchester!
If you’re a meat lover, go for their ‘Mješano Meso’ For Two, which features a selection of meats including grilled lambchops, filet mignon, veal liver, grilled sausages, and chicken breast.
If you’re more of a seafood person, enjoy grilled fish featuring one of their daily catch options.
You’ll also find a great wine list featuring wines from Croatia and beyond.
LOCATION: 721 Main St, New Rochelle, NY
Goosefeather
If you’re looking for a romantic restaurant to visit in Westchester County, you absolutely need to book a reso at Goosefeather.
Goosefeather serves up Cantonese fusion cuisine at their gorgeous restaurant at the Tarrytown House Estate on the Hudson, a beautiful historic hotel in Tarrytown.
Chef Dale Talde is behind the menu at Goosefeather, who’s been on cooking shows like Top Chef and Chopped!
Every dish we tried on the menu was impeccable, but my favourite was definitely the Spicy Salmon Tartare.
Goosefeather also has a fantastic weekend brunch menu, but sadly we weren’t able to fit brunch into our schedule as they only open at 11 AM on weekends.
The Kung Pao Chicken & Mochi Waffles really caught our eye on the brunch menu, but they do have a Mochi Waffle dessert on the dinner menu!
If you’re visiting during the summer months, you can also enjoy their lovely outdoor patio.
LOCATION: 49 E Sunnyside Ln, Tarrytown, NY
Blue Hill at Stone Barns
This farm-to-table Tarrytown restaurant has two Michelin Stars, and reservations are very exclusive.
Rather than menus, Blue Hill does multi-taste feasts featuring ingredients sourced from their own farm and other local farms.
They don’t accept tips, but they do have an administration fee of 22% that goes towards overhead costs.
Keep in mind that since it is a nicer restaurant, they do have a dress code!
They also offer a more casual “cafeteria” experience during lunch and dinner hours, but reservations are still required.
